Spring weather and the pompano run go hand and hand for anglers along the northern gulf coast. This year is off to a slow start due to the cold winter weather, but from here on out it will only get better.
If you’ve never fished for them or want to learn more now’s your chance. On Monday March 14 Captain Chris Phillips and guest speaker will take to the stage for the monthly Hook, Line, and Sinker Seminar Series.
Details on bait, location, lures, tides, time of day, equipment, and even a few secrets will be shared to increase your chances on finding success when fishing for pompano.
The series now has seminars every month of the year at Flounder’s Chowder House on Pensacola Beach. Free food will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the seminar will begin at 7 followed by a question and answer session and door prize giveaway.
